If this is the beginning of a series, I'm looking forward to the continuation.

Thank you for this very important post. I totally agree that we need a lot more judging but less "judgementalism". I tend to refrain from judging ideas when I should, because of my fear of coming across as "judgmental". Sometimes I just have to discern where the person is at and how he/she will interpret what I'm saying. The problem is that in our culture, judging ideas is interpreted as the same thing as being judgmental. Maybe it's time I help people understand that those are not the same thing.
