My 2 year old daughter attended a program eerily similar to the one you describe, though not in Florida.

She was particularly taken with a young blond haired soloist. When she returned for another song later in the show, my little girl remarked in a matter of fact way, "there's Barbie."

She was scared of the fireworks in the worship center.

Technologically speaking, I'm not all that concerned about the Orthodox Church vis a vis these spectacles. They have smoke machines sure, but the smoke doesn't even smell. They're something like 4000 years behind the times on that one.
