« Lenten Questions, No. 6: on Silence | Main | Lenten Questions, No. 8: on Truth »

Father, I am struggling with some things in my life, but now your words have made me see what I need to do. You don't know how much these words lift the fog from my life right now.

Father, thank you for this. The Orthodox difference: Descent precedes, even as it accompanies, Ascent.

What?!!!! It's not the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? :( Oh drat. Now you've gone and turned the world upside down.:) Will it ever be preached on a regular basis that true Christians should "not be conformed to this world" and all that it entails, and that the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness is but a delusion? Yes, fasting is difficult, from all things, and many of us need help in doing it. I can't wait for No. 8.
