JLB, there are so many things wrong with this story (i.e., "travesty" is the bon mot here) that I am happy to say that it is more parable than report. That said, I am sad to say that none of these things are unprecedented, especially that horrible, basement term "vision-casting." The only vision that should occur in the Orthodox Church is theoria, just as the only passion should be the Cross.

Dare I ask in which diocese this travesty occurred? (If it in fact occurred, that is.)
