H-m-m... Yes, the English of the King James Version is beautiful. I personally have used the New King James since it came out about 20 years ago. It combines the phrase structure of the older version with a modernized vocabulary.

And you're right about the translation of vs. 1 of Ps. 121. It was likely intended as a question. No help from the hills. Only danger from brigands. But the psalmist assures us in the next verse that his help comes from the Lord.
