It has been on my mind that seeing Creation as a story is nearer the truth than seeing it as a feat of engineering, seeing it as a play is nearer the truth than seeing it as a playground. It was, after all, spoken into being.

Father, bless.

In my hometown, before City Hall was built, the fathers of the city met in the inn of one Tom Wilson. I can't help thinking that better things were decided and met there than in the current bureaucracy (is this the only "form" of "government" that is, literally, tied to a French desk?) in which our city squats.
