It is a brilliant piece you wrote. The Church does have it's failings, and the thoughts of "Greater" prayer and "Lesser" prayer. I, myself, have reached out to Our Father and His Son on many occasions. I don't believe I need to wrap up my body, and say the "Jesus Prayer", for hours on end, and beat myself with prayer ropes, in order for God to hear my prayers. God does listen, and I don't think he sets priorities, but I am one who speaks, who comes from a mildly privileged life, that didn't have to worry about cause or concern, until a family was made. "Life comes at you fast", as Nationwide likes to say. We have spent 3 years crafting a new life, and believe God is still leading us. I never forget God in anything I do, but I miss Liturgy, due to time.
